Sexual Abuse & Trauma - Ask & Respond

It is important that health professionals know whether a person has experienced sexual abuse and trauma to facilitate accurate formulations regarding the origins of their current problems, and to be able to offer appropriate support, treatment, and resources. This one-day workshop was developed to support the many health professionals who did not feel confident to routinely ask about a person’s trauma history or were unsure of how to respond safely to these disclosures of abuse and trauma.
